Celebrate March with live music, cooking competitions, limited-time cocktails and festivals throughout New Jersey.

March 1-6

Over two dozen local restaurants, businesses, and food and beverage boutiques will participate in Downtown Haddonfield’s third annual restaurant week. Specials will include fixed price points, discounts and extended business hours all week. Participants include Brain Freeze Ice Cream Parlor, Mia’s Meals Falafel Bar, William Heritage Winery and retailers such as Inkwood Books, RAM Arcade, Evearts Jewelry and more.

March 4th

The Harbor Pines Grill Room brings back live music every Friday night in March. Enjoy local bands and artists during dinner starting at 5 pm. A new menu of entrees, appetizers and drink specials will be offered, as well as the popular prime rib. Reservations recommended.

March 5, 11am-7pm

Jersey’s biggest Mac and cheese festival is coming to Morris County. Local chefs and restaurants will put together their best cheesy dishes for guests to try. Vendors include Angry Archie’s, Bearded One BBQ, Dan’s Waffles and more. Guests can try everything and vote for who gets the “Mac Daddy Award,” given to the festival’s favorite mac-and-cheese dish. Guests can also enjoy hatchet throwing, a petting zoo and a bar with beer, margaritas and sangria. Tickets are $7 for advance purchase and $10 at the door.

Local chefs are partnering with Girl Scouts of Jersey Shore for the third annual TopCookie dessert competition. Each of the seven NJ chef competitors will incorporate Girl Scout Cookies such as Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Samoas and more into their own special dessert. The lead judge for the competition is Chef David Burke and each guest can cast their own vote as well. Tickets are $80pp and include bowling, dessert tastings and light snacks. Cash cash available.

Through March 31

Another event for Girl Scout cookie season continues at Ocean Casino Resort. Lobby Bar will offer cookie-themed cocktails all March and $3 will be donated to the Girl Scout Troops of Southern and Central Jersey for every sale. The new cocktails include Tall & Minty (Kahlua, half-and-half, Créme de Menthe), Caramel Surprise (Godiva Liqueur, caramel vodka, Malibu, half-and-half, chocolate syrup) and PB&B (Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, Créme de Cacao, chocolate bitters, Angostura bitters).

Jersey comedians TuRae Gordon, Michael Eagen, Kevin Israel and Karen Faye will take the stage at this comedy event. The night includes a special Italian buffet including chicken parmesan, flounder Florentine, beef lasagna, penne pasta and more. Advanced tickets are required. $59pp
