The twenty first season of the Music at Grace live performance sequence – The Leaf-Chronicle

The Music at Grace live performance sequence offered by Grace Lutheran Church at 2014 Madison Avenue is happy to announce its 21st season for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
The season will start on October 2nd with Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn. This oratorio will function Grace Lutheran’s choir and orchestra together with many neighborhood musicians.
“One of many greatest achievements of this venture has been combining our musical forces with singers from numerous church buildings and choirs from the Clarksville neighborhood and surrounding space. We hope that becoming a member of collectively to carry out such a monumental work stands for instance of civic bond and friendship in a world that’s so divided from each other,” Director of Music Jonathan Rudy mentioned.
December will function Christmas music by the favored Clarksville ensemble Purple River Breeze, returning once more to the Grace Sanctuary. January will function our annual Epiphany Live performance, that includes carols and music of the Introduction, Christmas and Epiphany seasons. And the spring will function the return of Les Kerr and his Bayou Band, a Piano Classics recital with Dr. Susan Yang from Vanderbilt, and the continuation of the 5-year Bach Organ Music recital sequence by our personal Director of Music, Dr. Jonathan Rudy.
All live shows are on Sunday and start at 4 P.M. Admission is free. Donations are accepted. Name Grace Lutheran Church at (931) 647-6750 for particulars.
