Sophomore Becki Kamara scored a season-high 17 points to lead Newark Lab to a 63-32 win over Thomas Edison Energy Charter in Newark. Kamara, who also had seven rebounds, is now averaging 9.9 points.
Newark Lab (3-10) snapped a nine-game losing streak.
Malachi Brown chipped in 13 points and five steals for the winners.
Thomas Edison Energy Charter (2-13) was led by Evan Gilpin, who scored 13 points.
