Heads up! New Jersey voter registration deadline is October 12th for the November 2nd election – NBC10 Philadelphia


Attention New Jersey Residents 17+! The deadline to register to vote for next month’s gubernatorial election is today, October 12, 2021.

Eligible residents can enter Registration application in paper form to the electoral offices of the district before they close for the evening, or by the Country online registration portal until 11:59 p.m.

At the head of the statewide vote, incumbent Democratic Governor Phil Murphy is running for re-election against Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli, a former Hunterdon County MP.

they are entitled to vote in New Jersey if you:

  • A US citizen
  • At least 17 years old, but may only vote from the age of 18
  • A resident of the county for 30 days prior to the election
  • A person who is not serving a term of imprisonment for a conviction of a criminal offense under the laws of New Jersey or the laws of any other state or the laws of the United States.

Once registered, voters should familiarize themselves with the upcoming New Jersey schedule for early personal coordination, Mail-in voting and Voting day on election day, November 2, 2021.
