Disney+ is remaking”Cheaper by the Dozen” with a few differences from the famous 2003 version with Steve Martin.

The remake closer reflects the source materialthe semi-autobiographical 1948 novel by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, and the 1950 film based upon it, which also took place in New Jersey, as opposed to the 2003 version which was set in Illinois. However, the blended family being interracial is unique to the 2022 remake.
In addition to Braff, a New Jersey native, and Union, the children are played by Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, Aryan Simhadri, Leo Abelo Perry, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Christian Cote, Sebastian Cote, and Luke Prael.
“Cheaper by the Dozen” will premiere on Disney+ on March 18, 2022.
