BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Berkeley County will maintain its annual delinquent tax sale later this month.
County leaders say all actual property and cellular houses with delinquent taxes are topic to sale throughout the occasion which can happen October 24 from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. contained in the Azalea Ballroom on the Lowcountry Convention Middle in Nexton.
To keep away from sale, property taxes for 2021 should be paid no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21. Tax cost is not going to be accepted on the day of the tax sale.
Registration to take part within the Tax Sale opens Thursday, October 6, and should be accomplished no later than 5 p.m. on October 20.
“Solely registered bidders will likely be permitted into the Tax Sale. Registration will NOT be permitted on the day of the sale. Go to berkeleycountysc.gov/taxsale2022 to sign-up for in-person or on-line bidding,” the county stated.
